2009-2010

Youth Ministry is for our youth in grades 6 through 12. Separate youth sessions are held for our High School (9-12th) and Middle School (6-8th) students. High School sessions alternate with Middle School sessions on Wednesdays, 7-8:30pm. Youth Group meets in the Community Center Youth Room in Perkinsville.

So why come to Youth Group? Youth ministry and Holy Family Youth Group is about empowering young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, to foster personal and spiritual growth, and to draw youth to participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community. Okay, that's the book answer.

So why come to Youth Group? It's fun! We use movies, games, music and other ways to teach faith, morality, fundamental Catholic skills, and more. You get to hang out with your friends and meet new ones from other parts of the parish and diocese. Sometimes we go on field trips. Sometimes on retreat. We always have snack! We always gather as a faith community, as fellow believers in the risen Christ. We learn how to live! Youth Group is intense, relaxed, fun, forgiving, quiet, loud,....And it won't be the same without YOU!
