The basic guidelines for a child to prepare to receive the sacrament of First Eucharist are:

• The child must be baptized into the Catholic faith.
• One year of Religious Education either in a Catholic school or a parish Religious Education program must have been completed.
• Current enrollment in a Religious Education program is required.
• The family is registered with the Holy Family Catholic Community.

First Eucharist preparation is done in small groups led by adults interested in helping our young friends grow in their faith. The time commitment is once a week for eight weeks for about one hour (plus preparation time).
