The sacrament of Holy Orders is conferred in all three degrees, Bishops, priests and deacons by a bishop. This is done by the laying on of hands on the man being ordained, followed by a solemn prayer of consecration asking God to grant the ordained, or man being ordained the graces of the Holy Spirit required for his ministry.
